What do you really need to know about the young people in the room? In some settings you get care plans and staff briefings. In others you get a room and a year group. Join us to explore what practitioners really need to know, and what to do when you know almost nothing.

About the event
You are about to lead a singing session. How much do you need to know about the young people who will be in the room?
The answer shifts with the setting. In a secure unit or a hospital school, detailed information may be available and expected. Arrive for a one-off workshop in a primary school and you may know nothing beyond the year group. Practitioners tell us both situations carry risks: too little information and you miss what matters; too much and you walk in seeing labels rather than people.
Join us to explore where the line falls between useful preparation and knowing more than you should, and what to do when you know almost nothing at all.
