Sing Up Day 2025: Free resources to celebrate singing and explore mental health and wellbeing

Sing Up Day is back on June 18, 2025! Join us for a global celebration focused on empowering children and young people through singing and music. This year, the Sing Up Foundation has teamed up with Sing Up to highlight the strong link between singing, mental health, and wellbeing.



What's New for Sing Up Day 2025?

This year's theme focuses on self-belief and tapping into your inner power. We're excited to bring you:


  • A new anthem: Learn and sing In me I trust a specially commissioned song by Ashleigh-Mae Schoburgh-Crooks, written to uplift and inspire.

  • Free, ready-to-use resources:

    • In me I trust lyric video and assembly plan: Perfect for exploring the song and its message.

    • Rap writing activity (for KS2/3): Created by Benjamin Turner, founder of Rap Club and featured on our 'Inspiring Voices' podcast.

    • Songwriting activity (for KS2)

To take part in Sing Up Day - you'll need to create a free Friend account on the Sing Up website. Here's how:

  1. Visit the Get Involved page

  2. Click on 'Get your anthem': You'll be prompted to sign up for a free account. Once logged in, you'll have access to the song In me I trust, your backing tracks, music activities, and more.
