Our friends at Youth Music recently scooped a Heritage Award at the British Documentary Film Festival. Their #RescueTheRoots short film, produced by Tell Studio, showcases the life-changing impact music has had on the lives of three young people, as well as cutting a stark picture of the urgent crisis facing grassroots youth music organisations.

16-22 June is Refugee Week, and we're marking it by highlighting a fantastic FREE new resource created by our friends at Music Action International, who took part in our research project into singing for displaced young people in the UK.

We're thrilled to announce that our recent fundraising drive as part of the Big Give Arts for Impact Match-Funding Campaign  for Chorus of Hope: Singing with Young Refugees and Displaced Children raised an incredible £11,090 ! This remarkable achievement was only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters who believe in the transformative power of music, along with the match funded support provided by the Big Give platform and New Philanthropy for Arts and Culture. Our Big Give match-funding campaign is now live until 25 March at 12:00 noon. Our campaign, "Chorus of Hope – Singing with Young Refugees and Displaced Children" comes at a crucial time when displaced young people across the UK need supportive communities more than ever.
